I have pimples or maybe ingrown hairs inside my right nostril that is kind of distracting, to which I preemptively attribute any errors or inaccuracies in this newsletter.
Monday
The quiet morning reflection I usually apply to making a comic was interrupted by my dog by my foot. I guess it was some road morsel she shouldn’t have eaten. This is a recently acquired carpet cleaner that shoots detergent, has a brush to agitate and super noisy suction to remove the dirty water and I suppose bits of carpet. We had to use it a few times in different locations, but the dog seems okay now.
Tuesday
I am just the pick up and delivery boy, but it seemed this promotion was not on their web site. A fair number of people, however, seemed to know about this.
Wednesday
I suppose I could have drawn the characters used in Duolingo the language app I use every morning, usually just before drawing a comic. But I was trying to imagine situations wherein the phrases would be in use and I have been reading the Chinese epic, Journey to the West lately in which the Monkey King can transform his appearance.
Thursday
I tend to be more interested in evolutionary patterns than ecological variations. Similarly, I am more interested in society trends than the ups and downs of the daily news. Maybe it is just a justification for my indifference.
Friday
That “Money for Nothing” song went through my head. “That’s the way you do it.” But he was practical and direct and it seems to be working better. We used to use the proper detergent but then got cheap I guess. Doesn’t pay.
Saturday
This movie is a little bit naughty and kind of fun and still a rare experience. I read somewhere that the working title was The Joy F*ck Club.
Sunday
I have seen these worms when snorkelling near coral in some places and they disappear into their holes. They come in many different colours. That reminds me, that I was going to a little fake Christmas tree this year.
That was my week. Hope you had a good one with a better one to come.
