Monday
I think it hasn’t rained as much this winter.
Tuesday
Most Netflix shows from Japan seem to be anime. This is a sweet show, involving people, mostly women. My Mom liked cooking and also used to do and teach Japanese dance, so she might have liked this show. In one of the episodes, they do a skit involving zombies, which was kind of weird.
Wednesday
I had read the acclaimed science fiction book by Cixin Liu, but frankly, only remembered bits when watching the show. This was a Chinese production I saw on Viki. Apparently Netflix is going to do a version with mostly white people.
Thursday
I joined a virtual national conference for the Science and Technology Awareness Network, which ran over three mornings. It’s always fun to meet people who share your enthusiasm for a subject. When I went to conferences in person, I usually had trouble controlling myself at the snack table.
Friday
Our dog initially injured her paw back in November. It seemed to have healed, but then looked not so good again. I took her to a different vet, who admitted it seemed strange to him. She is always reluctant to wear a booty and it doesn’t always stay on.
Saturday
Many people seem to talk as though the pandemic is over. And the vaccines had been touted as the answer. But it seems like we still have a way to go.
Sunday
When I do these doodles, I don’t have think like I do for the comics. I just let things come out and work together. This one I did while listening to the CRAM podcast about the neuroscience of music.
That was a bit of my week. Hope you had a good one.
